Objectives of the meet-up

• Community Building: We aim to create a platform for its users in Kazakhstan and surrounding regions to connect, share experiences, and build a supportive community.
• Feedback for Development: We want to gather valuable insights from our users to understand their pain points and wishlist items, which will inform future product development and improvements.
• Knowledge Sharing: We want to promote the exchange of ideas and solutions that can drive better outcomes in geotechnical projects across the region.

Event highlights

• User Experience Sharing: Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences using Rocscience tools for various applications. This meet-up aims to foster a collaborative environment where users can learn from each other and discuss best practices.
• Research Paper Presentations: Attendees are encouraged to present research papers highlighting how Rocscience tools have benefited their projects. This is a chance to showcase innovative applications and contribute to the collective knowledge base.
• Expert Insights: The event will feature Rocscience representatives from IDM Service, with Dr. Thamer Yacoub (CEO and President of Rocscience) and Dr. Reginald Hammah (Chief Scientific Officer of Rocscience) in attendance. • Technical Course: Following the user-group meeting, there will be a four-day technical course on "Modelling of Surface and Underground Mine Excavation." This intensive course is designed to deepen your understanding and enhance your skills in using Rocscience tools for complex geotechnical modeling.
