Info Viewer

The Info Viewer provides a comprehensive summary of model input data and analysis results, in an easy-to-follow text listing. Use the scroll bar or the mouse wheel, to scroll through the information. The Info Viewer behaves like any other view in CPillar (i.e. it can be re-sized, tiled, minimized, maximized and closed).

To access the Info Viewer:

  • Select: Info Viewer Info Viewer Icon from the toolbar or the Analysis menu

The Info Viewer information can be saved in a variety of ways, as described below.

Copy to Clipboard

To copy Info Viewer information to the clipboard:

  • Select: Copy Copy icon from the toolbar, the Edit menu, or the right-click menu.

From the clipboard, the information can be pasted into word processing programs for reports, presentations, etc.

Save to File

The Info Viewer information can be saved to a text file (*.TXT) or hypertext markup file (*.HTM).

To copy Info Viewer information to a file:

  • Right-click in the view and selecting the desired Save As Save As icon option
  • Select: Save Info Viewer Contents Save Info Viewer Contents icon option from the File menu, while the Info Viewer is the active view.

Printing

To send Info Viewer information directly to your printer:

  • Select: Print Print icon in the toolbar or the File menu.

Analysis Results

If your Analysis Type is PROBABILISTIC, in addition to Mean Pillar information (i.e., Pillar analyzed with Deterministic mean inputs), the Info Viewer lists a summary of:

  • Factor of Safety Statistics, with mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum factors of safety, and probability of failure
  • Probability Analysis settings
  • Statistical Variables, showing a list of random variables and their distributions

In general:

Probability of Failure = Number of Failed Pillars / Number of Pillars
NOTE: A separate probability of failure is computed for each failure mode being modeled.
