Circle

The Circle option allows you to add a circle or ellipse anywhere on a view.

To add a Circle or Ellipse:

  1. Select Circle Circle icon from the toolbar menu or the Tools menu.
  2. Enter a point graphically with the mouse, or enter x, y coordinates in the prompt line.
  3. As you move the mouse, an ellipse will be drawn between the point entered in Step 2, and the current cursor location.
    NOTE: To draw a CIRCLE, hold the SHIFT key while you are moving the mouse.
  4. Enter a second point graphically with the mouse, or enter x, y coordinates in the prompt line, and the Circle or Ellipse will be added to the view.
After a Circle has been added, it can be moved, re-sized, formatted, etc. See the Edit Tools topic for details.
