Line
The Line option allows you to add a line between any two points on a view.
To add a Line:
- Select Line
from the toolbar menu or the Tools menu. - Enter the first point graphically with the mouse, or enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line.
- As you move the mouse, a line will connect the first point to the current cursor location.
- Enter the second point graphically with the mouse, or enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line, and the Line will be added to the view.
Snap Options are available in the right-click menu if you want to snap exactly to certain coordinates.
After a Line has been added, it can be moved, re-sized, formatted, etc. See the Edit Tools topic for details.
