Compute Overview

The Compute Compute icon option in the toolbar or the Analysis menu can be used to re-run a CPillar analysis at any time.

However, note that:

  • If your Analysis Type is DETERMINISTIC, Compute is not necessary (and is unavailable), since you will have already calculated the Factor of Safety, instantaneously, upon entering or changing the data in the Input Data dialog.
  • If your Analysis Type is PROBABILISTIC,
    • If Autocompute Autocompute icon is turned ON, the Factor of Safety is automatically computed, upon entering or changing the data in the Input Data dialog, Geometry and Stress Statistics dialog, Material Properties Statistics dialog, or after modifying the Stope Section geometry.
    • If Autocompute Autocompute icon is turned OFF, select Compute Compute icon to manually run your CPillar model after modifying probabilistic inputs or Stope Section geometry.
