Running the Analysis

To run a CPillar analysis, entering all of your input data into the Input Data dialog.

If the Analysis Type = DETERMINISTIC:

  • The Factor of Safety will be immediately calculated and displayed in the Pillar Information section of the Sidebar.

If the Analysis Type = PROBABILISTIC:

NOTES:

  1. The Compute Compute icon button is not necessary for a Deterministic Analysis, since the Safety Factor will not change when you re-compute.
  2. When a file is opened in CPillar, the analysis is automatically carried out, so that you can immediately view results. Therefore, it is only necessary to compute if you are changing the data in the Input Data dialog, Geometry and Stress Statistics dialog, Material Properties Statistics dialog, or after modifying the Stope Section geometry.
