Version 5.005

2D STOPE SECTION VIEW

  • Added 2D CAD view with interactive drawing options (mouse, command line) for defining the geometry of a Polygonal Pillar Stope Section.
  • Added annotative drawing tools (i.e., textbox, line, arrow, etc.).
  • Added Import DXF option to import 2D DXF for defining the geometry of a Polygonal Pillar Stope Section.
  • Added Import Image Wizard option to import, scale, and set order and transparency of images.
  • Added Export DXF option to export 2D DXF of the Polygonal Pillar Stope Section.

MATERIAL PROPERTIES

  • Define any number of abutment material properties in the Input Data dialog.
  • Assign different shear material properties to each abutment through the Input Data dialog or graphically in the 2D Stope Section View.

    IMPROVED INPUT DATA

    • Moved model inputs from the Sidebar to the newly added Input Data dialog for improved organization.
    • Statistics can be defined by either clicking the statistics button beside each entry in the Input Data dialog or in the corresponding statistics dialogs from the Statistics menu.

      IMPROVED 3D MODEL VIEW

      • Added Factor of Safety or Probability of Failure text in top-center of view.
      • Added water surface plane graphics.
      • Added Export 3D DXF option to export the 3D Pillar geometry.

        IMPROVED INFO VIEWER

        • Detailed statistical information.
        • Detailed abutment material, area, shear force, and normal force information.

          CONVERGENCE PLOT

          • Added Convergence Plot option to plot the Mean or Variance of any outputs or random variables with respect to the number of samples in a Probabilistic Analysis.
          • The x-axis can be plotted as either linear or logarithmic.

          SIDEBAR

          • Added Sidebar on the right side of application window which displays key Pillar input and analysis information.
          • Filter the display of Pillar Information.

          Version 5.001

POLYGONAL PILLAR GEOMETRY FOR RIGID ANALYSIS

          • Define irregular, Polygonal pillars of uniform thickness (Rigid Analysis only)
          • Define non-vertical pillar abutments
          • Option to rotate principle lateral stresses

          LOCKED IN STRESS

          • Option to add Locked In Stress when using Gravity Lateral Stress Type, to set the lateral stress at the pillar surface

IMPROVED PLATE BENDING FORMULATION FOR ELASTIC ANALYSIS

          • Use of plate bending models proposed by Timoshenko and Woinowsky-Kreiger (1987)
          • Considers true two-way plate bending of rectangular plates with clamped boundary conditions
