Persistence Column
A Persistence column is required if you wish to record the joint persistence of each planar measurement.
The values in the Persistence column correspond to the the maximum joint length as measured in any direction of the planar structure. The Persistence column can be enabled manually by selecting the Persistence Column checkbox in the Project Settings dialog.
Persistence Column Values
The Persistence values should be non-zero and positive
- Persistence units should correspond to the Units selected in Project Settings (meters or feet).
Persistence Column Position
The Persistence column is always added after the Orientation, Quantity , Traverse, Set, Distance, and X, Y, Z columns, and before any Extra Columns. Therefore the Persistence column may be either the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, or eleventh column in the spreadsheet, depending on whether Quantity, Traverse, Set, Distance, and/or X, Y, Z columns exist.
Adding / Removing the Persistence Column
- The Persistence column can be added or removed from the spreadsheet through the Project Settings dialog.
- The Add Column / Remove Column options cannot be used to create or remove the Persistence column.
