Show Data on Plane
Show Data on Plane option allows you to create planes in XY, YZ, and XZ planes with desired location / location to view the contour of the model results. This plane can either be defined in x, y, and z coordinates or it can be adjusted with freehand manipulation to freely move around with arrows.
Below shows an example of data plane plotted in between the multiple material backfill.
SWEEPING CONTOUR PLANES
Use the Selected Stress Grid drop-down to select the stress grid the plane will be created in.
Use the XY, YZ, and XZ options to section the orientation of the plane. The Plane Location slider allows you to move the plane along the axis.
GENERAL CONTOUR PLANES
The General Contour Planes tab allows you to manipulate the contour plane in any direction, instead of just along the axis. You can use the fields in the dialog or the Freehand Manipulation tool to manipulate the plane directly on the model.
