Draw Text Box
The Draw Text Box option allows you to add text anywhere in the Viewport. Pre-formatted Auto-Text, corresponding to the information in the Report Generator, can be added, or any user-defined text can be added, as explained below.
To add a Text Box:
- Select Draw Text Box from the Annotate menu.
- Pick the point graphically using the left-click of your mouse to indicate where you want to add the Label. This point will locate the beginning of the leader line. Pick another point to indicate where you would like the middle left corner of the Text Box to start.
- You will see the Edit Text dialog.
- To add user-defined text: type any text in the "Sample text" area at the left of the dialog. Use the Font option to modify the text font. Select OK, and the Text Box will be added to the view.
After a Text Box has been added, it can be formatted, moved, edited or deleted. See the Edit Tools Overview topic for details.
