Select Faces by Filter (Elevation)

RocFall3 allows users to select the faces of a surface by selecting various filter parameters. To access this option, go to the Material Region tab and click on the Select Faces By Filter (Elevation) select faces icon icon (or select Edit > Select Faces by Filter (Elevation)). This will open the Select Faces dialog.

  • Click the Elevation (defined between Z values) checkbox, if applicable, and define the first and/or second Z-value(s) of the face to be selected.
  • Click the XY Coordinates Between checkbox and define the first and/or second X and Y coordinates of the face to be selected.
  • Click Add to Selection Add to Selection icon to select the defined face.
  • Click the Clear previous selection checkbox to enter new values, ONLY if applicable.
  • You can also reset the X, Y, and Z values using the Reset Values button.
