Zoom and Pan
Within the RocPlane 3D Wedge View, you can zoom and pan the model in a number of ways:
Zoom All - Reset the model to its default size and location in the view.
Zoom In - Zoom in to 90 % of the original area.
Zoom Out - Zoom out to 111% of the original area.
Pan - Translate the model left, right, up, or down within the view
To access the zoom and pan functions:
- Select the option on the toolbar or the View menu.
Zooming Individual Views
To zoom an individual pane within the view:
- Click in the pane to make it the active view, then use one of the following options:
- The zoom toolbar buttons
- The mouse wheel (rotate forward = zoom in, rotate backward = zoom out)
- The + / - numeric keypad keys (plus = zoom in, minus = zoom out)
- The F2 / F4 / F5 function keys (F2 = zoom extents, F4 = zoom out, F5 = zoom in)
- The PAGE UP / PAGE DOWN keys (PAGE UP = zoom out, PAGE DOWN = zoom in)
Zooming All Views
To zoom all panes simultaneously:
- Hold down the SHIFT key and use the zoom toolbar buttons
- Hold down the SHIFT key and use the + / - numeric keypad keys
- Hold down the SHIFT key and use the F2 / F4 / F5 function keys
- Hold down the SHIFT key and use the PAGE UP / PAGE DOWN keys
Panning
To pan the model using the toolbar or keyboard:
- Select Pan on the toolbar or press the F10 function key.
The cursor changes to the Pan icon. - Click and hold the left mouse button in a view and drag the model to the desired location.
- To exit Pan mode, right click and select Done, or press ESCAPE.
To pan the model using the mouse:
- Click and hold the middle mouse button or mouse wheel within a view.
The cursor change to the Pan icon. - Drag the model to the desired location and release the middle mouse button.
