Overhanging Slope
If the crest of the slope overhangs the base, select the Overhanging checkbox, and enter the appropriate Dip and Dip Directions of the Slope and Upper Face planes.
The analysis of an overhanging slope is essentially the same as a non-overhanging slope. RocSlope2 will determine if a wedge can be formed and calculate the safety factor and sliding planes as normal.
Note
If the Overhanging check box is not selected for an overhanging slope analysis, the slope plane orientation input cannot be interpreted correctly.
