Support Overview

There are various ways of modelling support in RocSlope2:

  • Shotcrete can be modelled with the Shotcrete option.
  • Individual bolts can be added to the model with the Add Spot Bolt option.
  • Bolt Patterns can be applied using the Add Bolt Pattern option.
  • An equivalent support or loading pressure can be defined on the slope face with the Pressure Load option.
  • A force can be applied to the slope with the Point Loading option.

Bolt Properties

Bolt Properties can be defined using the Define Bolt Properties dialog. The properties are common to all bolts defined in the model. You can assign a particular pre-defined bolt property to any single Spot Bolt or Bolt Pattern.
