Import Property File

The Import Property File option allows you to import the properties of an existing RocSlope3 file into the RocSlope3. The list of properties include:

  • Materials Properties (i.e., Saturated Unit Weight, Unsaturated Unit Weight, Water Parameters)
  • Joint Properties
  • Synthetic Joint Definitions
  • Bolt Properties
  • Shotcrete Properties
  • Groundwater from:
    • Add Water Surface
    • Add Water by Location
    • Add Water Pressure Grid

To import a property file:

  1. Select: File > Import > Import Property File
  2. You will see an Open File dialog, allowing you to select a file. Select and open the desired RocSlope3 file (supports extension with: *.rocslope, *.rocslope_model).
  3. After importing the RocSlope3 file, you should verify that the materials, supports, etc. have been correctly imported.
