View Cube

The View Cube is displayed at the top right of all Viewports and indicates the current viewing angle in each Viewport.

When rotation is enabled (e.g. in the 3D perspective view):

  • You can rotate the view by clicking and dragging on the View Cube with the left mouse button.
  • You can select faces, edges or corners on the View Cube to rotate the model to the selected perspective.
  • If you click and drag only on the NSEW "compass" ring, you can rotate the model around the Z-axis.
  • The arrow keys on your keyboard can also be used for rotating the model. The speed of rotation and rotation center can be adjusted in the General tab of the Display Options.
The View Cube is locked for Viewports that are fixed on the XY, ZX and YZ planes.
