Create External Box

The Create External Box option allows you to create a 3D box of user-defined dimensions which is automatically defined as the External Volume.

  1. Select the Geometry Geometry Workflow Tab workflow tab.
  2. Select Geometry > Create External Box create external box icon
  3. In the Create External dialog, enter the XYZ coordinates of opposite corners of the volume you wish to define.
  4. Click OK and a box with the specified dimensions will be created and automatically defined as the External Volume.

After an External box has been created, you can create your slope model by intersecting the box with planes or surfaces, using 3D Boolean operations.
