Show Joint Traces

The Show Joint Trace option allows you to visualize the joint trace lines formed by the intersection of daylighting joints with the slope surface.
After defining the External geology and Joints (includes Measured Joints, Synthetic Joints, and Joint Surfaces from Add Joint Surface):

  1. Select the Joints workflow tab joint workflow tab
  2. Select Joints > Show Joint Traces joint traces icon The Joint Traces node is added to the Visibility Tree and the drawn in the 3D CAD View. All Joint nodes are automatically hidden.
  3. The Joint Trace line color and line thickness can be modified in the Display Options dialog.
  4. Select Joints > Show Joint Traces again to toggle off the visibility of the Joint Trace node and toggle on the visibility of the Joint nodes.
