Analysis Results
The results of a RocTopple analysis depend on the Analysis Type you select in the Project Settings dialog: Deterministic or Probabilistic.
Deterministic Analysis
For a Deterministic analysis, the primary result is the Factor of Safety that is displayed in the Legend in the 2D View. See RocTopple Theory Documents for the method of determining the Factor of Safety.
The potential failure mode of individual blocks (toppling, sliding, stable) is automatically highlighted using different colours in the 2D View and 3D View. See FAQ #2 for more information.
Probabilistic Analysis
For a Probabilistic analysis, the primary result is the Probability of Failure that is displayed in the Legend in the 2D View.
In addition, you can plot histograms, cumulative plots, and scatter plots of Probabilistic analysis results, and charts and data can be exported to Excel.
Sensitivity Analysis
The Sensitivity analysis option allows you to determine the effect of individual variables on the Factor of Safety.
Info Viewer
For either analysis type, a detailed summary of the model's input parameters and analysis results can be seen in the Info Viewer. Data in the Info Viewer can be copied, saved, and exported.
