Compute

The Compute option is applicable only to a Probabilistic analysis and is available on the toolbar or the Analysis menu.

• To run a Probabilistic Analysis select Compute.
  The Probability of Failure is calculated and you have the option of viewing statistical results in a histogram plot, cumulative plot, and scatter plot.

NOTE: If the Compute option is disabled (greyed out), it indicates that Probabilistic analysis has already been computed.

Autocompute

If the Autocompute option is turned on, the Probabilistic Analysis is automatically run each time you change input variables (i.e., select OK or Apply in an input dialog, or graphically edit support, loads, etc). In this case, the Compute option is disabled since the analysis is automatically re-computed whenever input is changed.
