Load Statistics

For a Probabilistic analysis you can define the following load parameters as random variables:

You can define the load statistics when you initially add a load, or when you edit properties of an existing load. To define a load random variable:

  • In the load properties dialog (Line Load or Distributed Load), select the Quick-Stats button located beside the magnitude variable, choose a distribution, and enter the standard deviation, relative minimum and relative maximum.

See the Random Variables and Statistical Distributions topic for further information.

Multiple Loads

If your RocTopple model has multiple loads, the statistics are defined independently for each load.
