Editing Bolts

After you add a bolt to your model in RocTopple, you can easily edit its properties in the Edit Spot Bolt dialog using the right-click menu or the Edit Bolt option on the Support menu.

NOTE: You can only select bolts for editing in the 2D View, and not in the 3D View.

Editing a Bolt with the Right-Click Menu

1. Right-click on a bolt (in the 2D View) and select Edit Bolt from the popup menu.
   The Edit Spot Bolt dialog appears showing the properties of the selected bolt.
   
2. Edit the properties as required and click OK. For details of the bolt input parameters, see Adding Bolts in RocTopple.

Editing a Bolt with the Support Menu

1. Select Edit Bolt in the Support menu.
   The mouse pointer turns into a square.
2. Click individual bolts or click and drag the mouse to select multiple bolts.
3. When you are finished selecting bolt(s), press ENTER or right-click and select Done.
   The Edit Spot Bolt dialog appears.
   
   NOTE: If you selected multiple bolts, the changes you make apply to all the selected bolts.
