Add Selection Group

The Selection tab in the Visibility pane lists Selection Groups by order in which they were added to the model. A Selection Group is a group of geometry entities that have been selected by the user to be grouped together. You can define different selection groups from both the Selection tab and the Edit menu.

To add a new selection group:

1. Select your entities, faces, edges and/or vertices (see the Selection Mode page for more details).
   
2. In the Visibility Pane, go to the Selection tab and click Add New Selection Group . Or, select Edit > Add Selection Group in the main menu. A dialog will appear.
   
3. Enter a name for your new Selection Group.
   
4. Click OK.
