Create Excavation Cut From Selected Blocks

The Create Excavation Cut from Selected Block option allows users to crop the excavation extents around selected unit blocks(s). To create an excavation cut:

1. Navigate to the Results workflow tab
2. Ensure that Block Type = Unit Blocks.

3. Select a unit block by clicking a block graphically from the 3D View. When the unit block is selected, it will be highlighted PINK. To select multiple unit blocks, hold CTRL + Click.

   Unit blocks can also be selected from the Block Information pane by selecting the corresponding rows.
4. Select Interpret > Create Excavation Cut from Selected Blocks

Only the selected unit blocks will be colored according to the Block Color option selected. The excavation and adjacent blocks are cropped by an oriented bounding box scaled to 150% of the selected block extents.
