Use Compression Capacity

The Compression Capacity is optional and allows you to account for the failure of the bolt in compression.

To consider bolt compression capacity:

  1. Select: Support > Define Bolt Properties Define bolt properties icon
  2. Inside the Define Bolt Properties dialog, tick the Use Compression Capacity checkbox within the bolt properties table.
  3. Enter the desired value of Compression Capacity. The Compression Capacity is simply entered as a force.
