Boundary Conditions

The Show Boundary Conditions Show Boundary Conditions icon option, in the toolbar or the Groundwater menu, acts as a master toggle to switch the display between Groundwater Boundary conditions and Stress Analysis Boundary Conditions.

  • If Show Boundary Conditions is selected, then only Groundwater Boundary conditions will be displayed (e.g. Total Head, Nodal Flow etc).
  • If Show Boundary Conditions is NOT selected, then only Stress Analysis Boundary conditions will be displayed (e.g. restraints, loads etc).

Show Boundary Conditions is only applicable if the Groundwater Method = Finite Element Analysis.

Individual groundwater boundary conditions (e.g. Total Head, Infiltration etc.) can be toggled on/off in the Display Options dialog or with the toolbar shortcuts (select the drop-arrow beside the Show Groundwater Boundary Conditions toolbar button).
