Water Table
After a finite element groundwater seepage analysis, RS2 will display the Water Table which has been determined from the seepage analysis. The Water Table represents an iso-line of zero pore pressure.
By default the Water Table is displayed as a pink line, as shown in the following figure.

Display of Water Table
The display of the Water Table can be toggled on/off as follows:
- In the Display Options dialog, the Water Table display can be toggled on/off with the check box in the Groundwater tab, and the colour can be customized.
- The Water Table toolbar shortcut will toggle the display of the Water Table.
- You can also right-click on the Water Table and select Hide Water Table (to display it again you will have to use Display Options or the toolbar button).
Exporting the Water Table
Water Table can be exported to other programs, using the following right-click shortcuts.
Export to Slide
To export the RS2 Water Table into Slide:
- Right-click on the Water Table and select Copy (Slide modeler format) from the popup menu. This will copy the Water Table polyline to the clipboard.
- In Slide, select Paste from Interpret in the Edit menu. You can then choose to import the RS2 Water Table as a boundary in Slide (e.g. Water Table, Piezo Line or Material boundary).
Export to DXF File
To export the RS2 Water Table to a DXF file:
- Right-click on the Water Table and select Export DXF from the popup menu.
- You can save the Water Table as a polyline in a DXF file.
