Export Lines

The Export Lines option allows you to export contour Iso Lines and groundwater Flow Lines from the current RS2 file to a .p2i file.

The lines can then be imported into other RS2 files using the Import Lines option.

To export lines:

1. Select Export Lines from the Export sub-menu of the File menu.
2. You will see the Export Lines dialog. Choose Export All if you want to export all lines, or choose Export Selected Only if you want to export only selected lines. Select OK.
3. If you chose Export All (in Step 2) you will see a Save As dialog. Enter a filename and all lines will be saved to a .p2i file.
4. If you chose Export Selected Only (in Step 2), you will first be prompted to select the lines that you wish to export. Use the mouse to select the desired lines. When you are finished selecting, press Enter or right-click and select Done Selection. You will see a Save As dialog. Enter a filename and the selected lines will be saved to a .p2i file.

NOTE:

• The lines saved in a .p2i file can be imported into other RS2 files using the Import Lines option.
• Lines can also be imported directly from RS2 .fez files using Import Lines. In general, it is not necessary to export a .p2i file, unless you wish to save the lines with a different filename.
