Add Node Reaction Query
The X and Y reaction forces at restrained nodes can be displayed with the Add Node Reaction Query option.
- Select Add Node Reaction Query from the toolbar or the Query menu.
- Click on any restrained node on a boundary. This will define a starting point for the query.
- As you move the mouse, restrained nodes on the boundary will be highlighted. When the desired nodes have been selected, click the mouse again to add the query to the model.
- By default, the X reaction force at each selected restrained node will be displayed. To display the Y reaction force, right-click on the query and select F(y) direction from the popup menu. Other options are available in the right click menu as described below.
Graph Node Reaction Query
After the Add Node Reaction Query, you can plot the data with the Graph Node Reaction Query option from the Graph menu.
Right Click Options
If you right-click on a node reaction query, the popup menu will provide shortcuts to Graph Data, Copy Data, display X or Y reaction forces, or Delete Query.
Delete Node Reaction Query
To delete a node reaction query, you can use the right-click shortcut, or select Delete Node Reaction Query from the Query menu.
