Time Query Overview
A Time Query allows you to obtain time-dependent data from a dynamic analysis, that would not otherwise be available. For dynamic analysis, a number of time steps occur between the defined stage times, and RS2 does not automatically output data for all mesh nodes for these intermediate time steps. When a Time Query is specified, the dynamic data will be recorded for all dynamic time steps occurring in the simulation, at the specified Time Query point(s).
Adding Time Queries
Time Queries can be specified as individual points or lines within the solid material, or for Liners, using the following options:
Time Queries must be created in the RS2 Modeler, before the analysis is computed. Once a Time Query is created, the dynamic output data at the specified point(s) will be available for plotting in the RS2 Interpret program.
Editing Time Queries
Time queries can be moved, deleted and modified using the time query editing options.
Graphing Time Queries
Time Query output data is graphed in the RS2 Interpret program with the Graph Time Queries or Graph Time Query Lines options.
