Piezometric Lines

View Piezos by Stage

If you are using Piezo Lines to define the groundwater pore pressure, and the piezo line(s) have been assigned a staging sequence, then the View Piezos by Stage option in the Groundwater menu allows you to view only the piezo line(s) which are applicable to the current stage of the model.

The option works as follows:

View Piezos by Stage = OFF

If View Piezos by Stage is OFF (this is the default setting) then ALL currently defined piezo lines will be visible at ALL stages of the model, regardless of the staging sequence of the piezo lines, or the stage which you are currently viewing. This is recommended when you are initially defining your piezo line(s).

View Piezos by Stage = ON

If View Piezos by Stage is ON (checkmark is displayed beside the menu option), then only the piezo line(s) which are applicable to the current stage of the model will be displayed. This is useful after you have defined the staging sequence of the piezo line(s), and allows you to easily verify that you have assigned the correct staging sequence to the piezo line(s).

The View Piezos by Stage option is only applicable under the following conditions:

• One (or more) piezometric line(s) have been defined.
• The piezometric line(s) have been assigned a staging sequence in the Define Hydraulic Properties dialog.
