Delete Two-Noded Spring

To delete two-noded springs:

  1. Select Delete Two-Noded Spring delete two-noded springfrom the Springs sub-menu of the Loading menu.
  2. Use the mouse to select the nodes on which the springs are applied. Note that multiple nodes can be selected with a window.
  3. When you are finished selecting, press Enter or right-click and select Done Selection, and the selected springs will be deleted.

Or

  1. Right click on the two-noded spring in the model and select the Delete Two-Noded Spring delete two-noded spring option from the context menu.

Tips

On a multi-stage model, a spring will be deleted from a node even if the spring does not exist at the stage being viewed (i.e. if the viewed stage is < Stage In or >= Stage Out, as defined in the Spring Properties dialog when the spring was added to the model). You should keep this in mind when using Delete Springs on multi-
