Soil Profile Extents
The Profile Extents must be defined if you are using the Soil Profile option. The Profile Extents define the left, right, top and bottom limits of the Soil Profile. The Profile Extents are input in the Sidebar at the left of the application screen, and are only available if:
- The Use Soil Profile check box is selected in Project Settings, AND
- The Profile
workflow tab is selected.
The Profile Extents define a rectangular window, which defines the maximum extents of your soil modeling region. Default values are initially in effect, these can be changed as required.
All Soil Profile boundaries will be automatically clipped within the limits of the Profile Extents.
The Profile Extents are displayed as a rectangular dashed line as shown in the following figure.
