Show Boundary Conditions

The Show Thermal Boundary Conditions option in the Thermal menu acts as a master toggle to switch the display between Thermal Boundary conditions and Stress Analysis Boundary Conditions.

Show Thermal Boundary Conditions is only applicable if the Thermal Method = Steady Thermal FEA or Transient Thermal FEA in Project Settings.

• If Show Thermal Boundary Conditions is selected, then only Thermal Boundary conditions are displayed (e.g. Flux, Temperature, Thermosyphon etc).
• If Show Thermal Boundary Conditions is NOT selected, then only Stress Analysis Boundary conditions are displayed (e.g. restraints, loads etc).

Automatic Display of Thermal Boundary Conditions

Thermal boundary conditions are automatically displayed when you select the Set Thermal Boundary Conditions option to define thermal boundary conditions. Stress analysis boundary conditions will automatically be hidden if they were previously displayed, and vice versa when stress analysis boundary conditions are defined.
