Draw Dimension Angle

The Dimension Angle in RS3 allow you to measure and display the angle between two line segments in the Viewport, as shown in the following figure.

To dimension the length:

  1. Select Dimension Length Annotate Tool Icon in the Annotate menu.
  2. Select two points to define the line to measure your angle. Enter the points graphically with the mouse, or enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line.
  3. TIP: the Snap options allow you to easily snap exactly to vertices, boundaries, or extension lines of vertices or boundaries.

  4. Move your mouse to select a third point to define the angle. As you move the mouse, the dimension angle between the defined line and your next point will be displayed. When you are satisfied with the location of the dimension tool, click the mouse and it will be added to the Viewport.
