Draw Dimension Length

The Dimension Length in RS3 allow you to measure and display distance between two points in the Viewport, as shown in the following figure.

To use the Dimension Length option:

1. Select Dimension Length in the Annotate menu.
2. Select two points between which you would like to measure the distance. Enter the points graphically with the mouse, or enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line.

TIP: the Snap options allow you to easily snap exactly to vertices, boundaries, or extension lines of vertices or boundaries.

3. As you move the mouse, the dimension length between the two points will be displayed. When you are satisfied with the location of the dimension tool, click the mouse and it will be added to the Viewport.
