Clear External

The Clear External option allows you to remove the External Volume assignment. This does not delete the geometry but rather removes the External geometry status. Removing the External geometry status allows you to delete or edit the geometry without restriction.

  1. Select the Geology Geology workflow tab workflow tab.
  2. Select Geometry > Clear External Clear External icon
The External volume cannot be deleted or edited using 3D Boolean operations other than using the Divide All Geometry or Un-Divide All Geometry tools. To delete or edit External Geometry you must either Undo your changes or use Clear External and then delete the geometry.
