Liner Interface Overview

A Liner Interface as defined in RS3 is a sliding joint which can be used in conjunction with the Define Lining Composition option. A liner interface can be placed:

  • between the rock/soil and the FIRST layer of a composite liner
  • between any two consecutive layers of a composite liner

To define liner interface properties, select: Support > Liners > Define Joint Properties. See the Define Joint Properties topic for more details.

To add liner interfaces between liner layers, select: Support > Liners > Define Lining Composition. Liner interfaces can be added as sliding joints within a lining set. See the Define Lining Composition topic for more details.
