Rectangle

The Rectangle drawing tool option allows you to add a rectangle or a square anywhere in the Plan View. To add a Rectangle or Square:

1. Select Rectangle from the toolbar or the Add Tool sub-menu of the Tools menu.
2. Enter the first corner graphically with the mouse, or enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line.
3. As you move the mouse, a rectangle will be drawn between the point entered in step 2, and the current cursor location.
To draw a SQUARE, hold the Shift key while you are moving the mouse.
4. Enter the second corner graphically with the mouse, or enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line, and the Rectangle or Square will be added to the view.
