Plotting Interaction Diagrams – Eurocode Methods

The Eurocode and its factors are available for the calculation of the interaction diagram. Three stress strain models of the Eurocode are available.

Project Settings

In the Project Settings dialog, under the Interaction Diagram tab, users are able to select the Eurocode Factors 2004 as the design standard and choose between the stress strain curves: EC2 Bilinear, Parabola, and Rectangular Block. Please refer to the theory document for the differences between these three models.

There are a number of parameters associated with Eurocode which can be found by clicking the Define button. The explanation of these parameters can be found in the RSPile: Eurocode Theory Document.

Results

The interaction diagram can be plotted as usual, and an example of the results can be seen here:

It should be noted that the factored/unfactored check boxes are disabled as there is no such distinctions in Eurocode.
