Non-Tapered Piles

H-PILE

The following input parameters are required for defining an H-Pile:

  • Type of H-Pile - users can select from 11 pre-defined piles
  • Pile Perimeter for Analysis - This is the perimeter that will be used for the skin friction capacity computations. The two options are H Pile Perimeter and Box Perimeter.
  • Tip Area for Analysis - This is the bottom area of the pile that will be used for end bearing capacity calculations. The three options are H Pile Area, Box Area, and User Select.
