Helical Analysis

Four basic shaft section types are supported for helical pile capacity calculations in RSPile.

To modify the shaft section properties,

1. Select Piles > Pile Properties > Pile Sections
2. Select an option from the Shaft Cross Section drop down.

Shaft Section Types

Circular Solid

For circular solid shafts, only the diameter is required.

Circular Hollow

For circular hollow sections, the outer diameter and the thickness are required.

Square Solid

For square solid shafts, only the side length is required.

Square Hollow

For square hollow shafts, the outer side length and thickness are required.
