Pile Section Properties Overview

Piles are defined using Pile Types which are made up of Pile Sections. The properties of the pile sections are defined in the Define Pile Section Properties dialog. The dialog displays different options depending on the analysis being performed:

• Axial/Lateral
• Driven
• Bored
• Helical
  

The Define Pile Section Properties dialog can be accessed in a number of different ways:

• From the Piles tab
• Through the right-click menu when you click on a pile
