Pile Orientation

The pile is oriented using three angles:

• Alpha - Rotation of pile around central axis of pile, clockwise from the y-axis
• Beta - Batter angle of pile, clockwise from y-axis
• Rotation Angle - Rotation of pile around the z-axis of the pile

Local Sign Convention

The local coordinates for calculating the pile results are shown. They differ from the direction shown in the 3D view of the pile.
