Massive Rock

A model for p-y curves for drilled shafts socketed in massive rock was developed by Liang, Yang, and Nusairat (2009).

The following input parameters are required for the Massive Rock model:

  • Uniaxial Compressive Strength
  • Geological Strength Index (GSI)
  • Intact Rock Constant (mi)
  • Intact Rock Modulus (Ei) OR Rock Mass Modulus (Erm)
  • Poisson Ratio
