Strong Rock (Vuggy Limestone)

The uniaxial compressive strength (kN/m2) is required to develop the p-y curve for Strong Rock. The curve is for rock with compressive strength of intact specimens larger than 6.9 MPa (1000 psi). Cyclic loading does not decrease resistance. Load tests are recommended if the deflection of the rock and pile is greater than 0.0004b.
