Welcome

The Welcome dialog appears when you first start RSWall. From here, you can create an empty project or choose from one of the available templates. You can also open an existing file.

Start with a wall template

By default, the Empty option is selected, which lets you define your model from scratch.

You can alternatively choose from one of the preset templates for the various types of walls supported by the program.

By using a template, some default wall section profile(s), wall configuration, topography and default soil profiles are automatically generated by the program. You can freely edit these aspects of the model after the selection.

Design Standard

Select the Design Standard that applies to the wall you are designing.

Wall type

If a template was not selected, you can choose a Wall type to design. The interface of the program will accommodate your choice here, but you can change the wall type after closing the dialog if you change your mind.

Open

Click Open to open an existing *.rswall file.

Don't show this next time

You can disable this dialog from popping up during startup by toggling this checkbox. To restore it, select File > Preferences > Restore All Warning Messages.

OK

Sets up the model with the specified options applied.

Cancel

Loads an empty model without any of the specified options applied.
