Viewports
There are several viewports options available in RSWall:
- 2D Section
- 2D Plan
- 2D Elevation
- 3D viewport
2D Section
A visualization of the 2D section of the current wall segment which was selected from the Segment Tree. If a wall segment is not selected (and rather, a wall node is selected), then the elevation viewport would show instead.
In Results Mode, additional symbols can be shown corresponding to the failure mode(s) in the Results Pane query.
2D Elevation
The 2D Elevation viewport visualizes the entire wall folded out over its length. This appears only if a wall node is selected in the segment tree (as opposed to a segment).
In Results Mode, the wall segments are color-coded based on the factor of safety.
2D Plan
The 2D Plan viewport shows all the walls along with their segments in plan ("birds-eye") view, with some simple depictions of which direction the facing is towards and segments denoting the boundaries between adjacent panels.
In Results Mode, the wall segments are colour-coded based on the factor of safety.
3D Viewport
The 3D Viewport allows you to easily visualize the extrusions of the wall segments along the wall. Note that for the purpose of analysis, each wall segment is analyzed using a 2D section.
