Report Generator
The Report Generator provides a comprehensive summary of model input data and analysis results, in a formatted listing. The information in this report can be customized and exported in a variety of ways, as described below.
To access the Report Generator:
- Select Home > Project > Report Generator
or Results > Compute > Report Generator
The Report Generator will appear as shown below:
Project Summary
The details shown on the Project Summary page of the report can be entered/edited from:
- Home > Project > Project Summary
Report Generator Options
When you are viewing the Report Generator, there are several options displayed in the menu at top of the window. This menu allow you to choose the information which is displayed in the Report Generator, and the appearance of the information (e.g. fonts, colors, etc.)
Images
Add images at the end of sections by selecting the Images option in the menu. The dialog below shows each section and the image insert option.
Comments
Add comments below each section by selecting the Comments icon in the menu. You will see the following dialog shown below.
Select + Add to add any comments. When you press Insert..., you will see the text dialog. After entering the comments, click OK and the comments will be added below the selected sections.
Cover Page
The Cover Page option allows you to create a template of your choice with company logo, name, project title etc. Select Reset to Default if you want to revert the changes.
Style Options
The Style Options dialog allow you to edit the format of the text and color of the sections.
Watermark
Use the Watermark option to place a customized watermark on the report.
Refresh
You can refresh the report after making the changes to the model. This will generate the most updated report of the project.
Results Section
One unique and powerful feature of RSWall is that it can produce a detailed equation report showing the hand calculations that would be used to conduct the entire analysis of each wall section in the model. This section will be automatically generated if results are present in the model.
List of Symbols Section
If results are present, then a list of symbols referenced
during the hand calculations will be printed at the beginning of the
Results section of the report.
References Section
If results are present, then a list of citations applicable
to the hand calculations will be printed at the end of the Results
section of the report.
Display Options
In the Display Options,
various toggles are provided to adjust the level of detail that will be
displayed in the report. See Display Options for more details.
