Backslope Topography
The Backslope Topography defines the terrain elevation profile behind a wall segment. Each wall segment should have its backslope topography defined. By default it is set to a flat, infinite terrain.
Terrain profile
The following options are available:
- Infinite
- Broken
- User-defined
Infinite

Slope Angle: Defines a constant slope angle behind the wall (input zero degrees for a flat profile)
Broken

You define a broken backslope using the following parameters:
- x1: the distance behind the wall before the slope starts.
- x2: the horizontal run of the slope.
- Defined by slope angle: input an angle for the slope.
- Defined by y1: input a vertical rise for the slope instead of an angle.
User-defined
You can define a user-defined topography using the table whereby X is the horizontal distance behind the top of the wall and Y is the vertical height above the top of the wall.
Note that the X values must be entered in ascending order.

Apply to
- All segments in the current wall
- Current segment only (Section 1)
Use this to apply the current setting to either all wall segments in the current wall or the currently selected segment.
